This is the first of the eight Harry Potter stories to be presented on stage. It’s in two parts to be seen on separate days or, ideally, the Wednesday matinee and evening performance on the same day.
On opening it became the show with the highest ever number of Olivier Awards when it won nine including ‘Best New Play’. Later it was said to be ‘one of the most defining pop culture events of the decade’.
The show is packed with thrilling theatrical effects that leaves the audience cheering and gasping.
