In many ways the most important part of a London Theatre Tour is the LTT Actor/Guide.
All our Guides are professional actors who are also trained as Guides for London Theatre Tours.
Each member of the main guiding team:
* Has mainly West End Theatre experience
* Is specifically trained as a Guide by LTT
* Has worked for LTT for a number of years
* Is particularly friendly and good to know
Your Guide will be there to meet you on arrival whether you are travelling by coach, by train or by air.
They will check you into your hotel and be responsible for helping to get you to the right place at the right time and will make sure the whole visit runs as smoothly as possible.
With their experience and knowledge of the West End and London your Guide is there to advise when needed, answer questions when asked and, at all times, keep you fully informed.
The Guide has constant, direct contact with the LTT Office and the Guide’s telephone number is your initial 24 hour contact point.
Mike has been working for London Theatre Tours for ten years. He initially began his association with the company delivering cast member Blood Brothers Workshops. The show ran for 24 years in the West End and Mike played the part of ‘Sammy’ for over a decade.
In 2012 Mike co-founded ‘STAGE-ED’ a Drama Workshop company that delivers Workshops in schools across the UK and Europe. You can find further information about the work they do by visiting http://www.stage-ed.com
Adam loves showing groups everything that Theatreland has to offer – whether it’s theatre trivia or even the occasional ghost story!
He is an experienced and knowledgeable guide as well as being a jobbing actor and Workshop leader. Adam has been working in musicals, plays and pantomimes for over ten years and highlights have included playing Roscoe Dexter in ‘Singin’ in the Rain,’ and Bernard in Alan Ayckbourn’s ‘Seasons’s Greetings’.
Amanda has appeared in a number of West End productions including ‘Avenue Q’, ‘Rent’ and ‘Bad Girls’ as well as the European Tour of ‘Lion King’.
Most recently she was in the National Theatre production of ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’ in the West End and then on a World Tour that included Amsterdam, Beijing and Australia.
Mike, Adam, Amanda, Mark & Greg are the main LTT Guiding Team. However, when necessary, and particularly during the extra busy Summer months, a rota of other Guides work as extras to the team.
